Greetings from the Crater! Last Tuesday and Wednesday, students from two local junior high schools attended the 2010 Earth Science Days event at
Crater of Diamonds State Park. This year, we split the event into two days to accommodate smaller groups, for more individualized focus on the students.
Along with two of our
park interpreters, volunteers from the Arkansas Geological Survey, Arkansas Forestry Commission, Arkansas Natural Resources Commission, and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration presented a variety of exciting programs for visiting earth science students.
