It feels like summer already, so cool off at a Crater pool party

With temperatures this last week in the upper 80s and low 90s, summer seems to have already started.  So, a great way to have fun and cool off is to attend one of The Crater of Diamonds State Park pool parties at our Diamond Springs Water Park.  In June, July, and August, we will have three different parties, each with its own theme.

We kick off the summer on Saturday, June 9^th, from 6:30 to 9:00 PM.  Our party theme is Under the Sea, and we are celebrating the end of school year.  Join us for music, refreshments, games for kids of all ages, a people’s choice swimsuit contest, and of course a pool full of fun water features.  We will have decorations to make you feel that you are at the seashore, including a place to get your picture taken as a scuba diver about to be eaten by a friendly shark.  The People’s Choice swimsuit contest will select the suits in each age group that are closest to our theme.  So, find that mermaid swimsuit at the bottom of your drawer and you may be our winner. 

Admission for all of this fun is only $3.75 for children under 42 inches tall, and $5.50 for the over 42” children and adults.  Babies under two-years-old are free and if you come and watch, but don’t swim, you will pay only $2.00.  So, kick of what looks to be a long, hot summer with a fun evening.

On Saturday, July 7^th we will celebrate July 4^th with an Independence Day themed party.  We will end the summer on August 11^th with a Back to School Luau themed party.  So, mark your calendar for summer fun!
