Crater of Diamonds to host Fall Festival this Saturday
By Waymon Cox
Come to Crater of Diamonds State Park this Saturday for our fall festival! Beginning at 3 p.m. we'll have inflatables, games, entertainment, local vendors, and more family fun! Area fire departments will bring their trucks for photo opportunities, and representatives from Arkansas Tourism and nearby Historic Washington State Park will also be here to greet the public.
Local vendors will sell a variety of items including crafts, scented candles, beauty products, local honey, and hand-made jewelry. We’ll also have lots of games, including a toilet paper toss, treasure grab, bean bag toss, mini golf, and more!
Afternoon entertainment will include Harry Blanton, the Nashville Dance Academy, and The Third Channel. Bring a blanket and flashlight, and stick around after dark for our fall hayride around Prospector Trail, from 7 to 9 p.m.!
Cost is only $3 per person and includes wristband access to all inflatables, live entertainment, and hayride. Game tickets cost 25 cents each, or five for one dollar. For more information call Crater of Diamonds State Park at (870) 285-3113 or e-mail CraterofDiamonds@Arkansas.com. We hope to see you here!
