Prospector Gemboree was a success due to Nashville and Murfreesboro businesses
By Margi Jenks
Every day of the year the Crater of Diamonds State Park depends on the Murfreesboro and Nashville businesses to help welcome our visitors to southwest Arkansas. They do so much in terms of providing lodging and food, giving directions, repairing equipment that breaks down, and even patching some visitors up when they are injured.
However, many of those same businesses also help the diamond mine out with donations of prizes for our major and minor events. Visitors who participated in the treasure and scavenger hunts and the games at the Prospector Gemboree, held this past Saturday, went home with lots of great donated prizes.
So, thank you to the following businesses for their donations, and thank you to all the Murfreesboro and Nashville citizens for their ongoing help to the diamond mine visitors!
