John Huddleston Day games challenge all ages to have fun at Crater By Waymon Cox The watermelon seed spitting contest offered excitement for kids and adults, alike. Greetings from Crater of Diamonds! This year, kids of all ages took part in our classic lineup of games during the 26th annual John Huddleston Day. 64 individuals teamed up to participate in this year's egg toss at Crater of Diamonds State Park.
In related news, Bottle #1 for this year’s treasure hunt was found last week by Shirley Chamblee, of Pensacola, FL. Among other items, Shirley won a two-night stay at an Arkansas State Park of her choice, a $100 savings bond from Diamond Bank, and a genuine Crater diamond.
One final bottle remains hidden in the search area for some lucky individual to find. Said finder will win a one-night stay in a Swaha Lodge & Marina cabin, a genuine Crater diamond, inflatable water float, $100 savings bond from First National Bank of Murfreesboro, $20 certificate from Campbell’s Family Restaurant, and a free medium cherry limeade from Sonic! If not found by next week, we will post hints leading to the location of Bottle #2 in our articles. Happy hunting!
